The Ogun State Commissioner for Commerce and Industry, Otunba Bimbola Ashiru has congratulated the Muslim Community in Ijebuland on the emergence of a new chief Imam, Alhaji Miftaudeen Gbadegesin Ayanbadejo.
The appointment came after the death of the former Chief Imam of Ijebuland, Sheikh Abdur Rasaq Ishola Salaudeen.
Otunba Ashiru, who is also the consensus aspirant of the Ogun East All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming gubernatorial election in Ogun State used the opportunity to thank the Muslim Community, the good people of Ijebuland, most especially the Awujale of Ijebuland, His Royal Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Sikiru Kayode Adetona, for their unflinching support and cooperation since the inception of Senator Ibikunle Amosun-led administration in the State while promising government support at all times towards the overall development of Ogun State in all spheres of governance.
