In commemorating the United Nations International Day against Drug Abuse and illicit Trafficking, a non for profit initiative known as Silec, has launched Operation Rescue Nigerian Youths From Drug Abuse to save the present generation from total destruction using information.
The event which was held at the Household of Love Auditorium, Folarin Bus Stop Badore, Ajah, Lagos witnessed inspirational speech delivery, comedy and music.
Silec Initiatives is an idea conceptualized and developed from Silec Entertainment Concept, a brain child of Sunny Irakpo Leading Economic Champions Foundation known as Silec Foundation. It was borne out of the passion and zeal to confront key social problems that affect the youths in Nigeria and across the continent.
The initiative is an Independent Not – for – Profit making created in the year 2010, with its first project being an Enlightenment Campaign against Drug Abuse and other related social vices crippling the economic potentials and lives of promising youths, with the apprehension that, if little or nothing is done to nip this in the bud, many lives as well as the future leaders shall be destroyed eventually.
