Breaking: President Buhari Signs 2018 Appropriation Bill into Law

President Muhammadu Buhari has signed the 2018 Appropriation Bill into law.

The President performed this function today in Abuja having suspended the Federal Executive Council meeting billed for today.

The bill, which was increased by 508 billion Naira by the National Assembly as against 8.612 Trillion Naira proposal submitted by the President, finally berth at 9.12 Trillion Naira.

It would be recalled that it took the National Assembly six months to pass the Appropriation Bill following alleged delay by some ministries, agencies and parastatals.
