President Mohammadu Buhari, on Monday made reference to the attempted disruption of release of election result process by a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and former Ministers of Niger Delta Affairs, Chief Godday Orubebe in 2015.
Buhari made the reference when he faulted the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation for not inviting him to the 2018 Democracy Day Lecture.
He said the organisers should have invited Orubebe to come and listen to the lecture delivered by the then Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, Prof. Attahiru Jega.
Orubebe had during the release of the result of the 2015 presidential election attempted to disrupt the process.
