The grand finale of the much publicized Lagos Bridal Fashion Week, hosted by Call Me Fashion, was an exercise in glamour and splendor as the beautiful Balmoral Covention Hall of the Federal Palace Hotel was literarily brought to a standstill.
The three days long event which began on Friday May 4, gloriously ended on Sunday, May 6 with superior bridal labels showcasing the best of Nigeria’s bridal attires.
Hitherto, it has been rare to see bridal wears and accessories on Nigerian fashion runway, but Lagos Bridal Fashion Week (LBFW) brought the notion to an abrupt end, relieving captivating moments with brilliantly made bridal dresses by professional African designers.
On the sidelines to behold the wonders of Nigeria’s finest designers were stakeholders in the fashion designing industry, brides-to-be, wedding lovers, buyers, and wedding planners. The countenance of every participant was a desire for a speedily wedding.
The show was a display of uniqueness, and every single dress was a perfect example of simplicity and glam; mixed with tulle, satin, lace, and a sprinkle of glitter. All attires on the runway certainly will meet the prefect figure of the unconventional wedding gown one desires.
Models ranged from a long train to the low full bow, a short dress to a side peplum dress, low cutouts to a mermaid cuts, a tulle ballgown to lots of amazing gowns, and part of these attires gives onlooker wide range of selection, and a timeless wedding look.
