The Minister of Solid Minerals, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, has been disqualified from joining other aspirants to re-contest the rescheduled All Progressives Congress (APC) primary elections for the forthcoming Ekiti governorship election.
The decision was taken by the Asiwaju Bola Tinubu-led group of South West leaders of the APC.
The decision may have been reached by the group following the meeting held last night in Abuja, where most of the 33 aspirants were present.
