Frontline presidential aspirant under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and celebrated journalist, Aare Dele Momodu, has concluded plans to move his homecoming presidential campaign awareness to the South region of the country, kick starting with his adopted state of origin, Osun. The event is tagged: “Homecoming for the Son of the South”
Speaking exclusively to The Boss, the presidential hopeful said the Osun homecoming fiesta is a follow up of the successful and ground breaking tour of Edo State, where an unprecedented number of people cutting across every facet of human endeavours, turned out to identify with him.
“What we witnessed in Edo State earlier will be child’s play to what is going to happen in Osun. Our people have become politically savvy now, and no longer push overs. They know what is best for them, and has seen a man desirous of bringing a desired change to the mess that pervaded overtime,” Momodu said.
The event, which is billed to kickstart at Gbongan, will move to Modakeke through to Ile-Ife and Osogbo among other parts of the state, will take place between February 26 and 28, 2022.
“We will be moving down to the East shortly after the South west tour,” Momodu added
