In his efforts to bring more developmental projects to his communities, the Senator representing Osun Central Senatorial District, Ajagunnla Olubiyi Fadeyi, joined the governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Co-Ordinating Minister of the Economy, Mr. Wale Edun among others to sign the Memorandum of Understanding for rail infrastructure. The incident took place in Beijing, China.
Shortly after the assignment, the excited Senator took to his social media handle to note as follows:
“Today marks a historic moment as I had the honour of joining His Excellency, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State, the Honourable Minister of Finance and Cordinating Minister of Economy, Mr. Wale Edun, CEO of MOFI Mr Armstrong, Chairman of Lekki Worldwide Mr Dabiri and China Harbour Engineering Company (CHEC), for the signing of a rail infrastructure Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in Beijing, China.
“This milestone signifies a major step toward the realisation of the Green Line Rail Service in Lagos State.
“I extend my heartfelt congratulations to Governor Sanwo-Olu for his visionary leadership and to the Honourable Minister for his instrumental role in facilitating this monumental achievement. His commitment to Lagos’ infrastructural development is highly commendable.
“A special congratulations goes to all the key stakeholders for their strong commiment to this louable project and also to CHEC for their outstanding Engineering expertise and professionalism in the industry, which will help bring this ambitious project to life.
“This MoU is a testament to the collaborative spirit that drives progress in Lagos and strengthens the state’s standing as an economic hub in Africa.”
