One of the ministerial nominees submitted by President Bola Tinubu, Abass Lawal Balarabe Abass has collapsed during screening on the floor of the senate
Balarabe collapsed immediately after entertaining some questions from the lawmakers.
Balarabe, from Kaduna State, is one of the three new ministers nominated by Tinuhu on Tuesday.
The Senate President, Godswill Akpabio directed the shutting down of cameras as the session was televised live, while efforts were made to resuscitate the nominee.
Abbas Lawal Balarabe was born on February 5, 1958 (65 years), and hails from Kachia Local Government, Kaduna State.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria (1978-1981), and also an M.Sc in Political Science from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria (1984-1986).
