Nigeria’s investigative journalist, who is seeking asylum in Ghana, David Hundeyin, has revealed that in a bid to stall the court order to Chicago State University to release President Bola Tinubu’s academic records to Atiku Abubakar, the lawyers handing the president’s brief have approached three Appeal courts in the United States, but without success.

Hundeyin made the revelation via his verified X handle.

Noting that he got the information from Atiku’s legal team, Hundeyin added that they requested a shift of the deposition time from 10am to 12pm,  but were turned down.

He wrote:

“Atiku’s legal team tells me that Tinubu’s lawyers approached 3 Appeal courts in the US today without success. They then requested Atiku’s lawyers in Chicago to shift the deposition time tomorrow from 10am to 12noon so as to buy time. Atiku’s team refused. Popcorn time”
