The Director, Strategic Communications of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential Campaign Council, Aare Dele Momodu, had decried the rate at which the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), has continually attempted to frustrate the campaign efforts through wantom destructioof its campaign materials including posters and billboards.

The media strategist made the revelation during a conference with media men in Abuja on Friday, adding that the denials also extended to the use of state owned radio stations, with special emphasis to Lagos State, reputed as the home state of the candidate of the APC, Bola Tinubu.

“It is been virtually impossible for us to install our billboards or paste our posters in APC government controlled states, especially in Lagos where the candidate of the APC is seen as next to God.

“I wish to appeal through you to the Federal Government since they control the APC, that this is not what democracy is all about.”

The party also challenged the presidential candidate of the APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to engage in issue based campaign and not that of violence.

Also at the media briefing, the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba, condemned the alleged call for violence by the APC candidate, saying “that is not what Nigerians want.”

He however, challenged Tinubu to engage Nigerians on ideas on how to transform the country, and allow the people to decide.
