The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has met with the Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, in London, according to reports monitored on This Nigeria
Atiku and Wike’s meeting was a follow up of reconciliatory moves to bring a lasting settlement between the two gladiators.
Atiku and Wike had fallen out of favour after the May 28 presidential primary election held in Abuja, and the subsequent nomination of Senator Ifeanyi Okowa as the party’s presidential running mate.
Earlier, Wike had met the Labour Party presidential candidate, Mr Peter Obi and former President Olusegun Obasanjo in London a few hours after meeting the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
