Prof Charles Soludo has been sworn-in as the new Governor of Anambra State. In his maiden address as governor, the former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), assured residents that he is ready to deliver on his campaign promises, saying the state would “win” under his watch.
Soludo gave the assurance while delivering his inaugural speech on Thursday.
Soludo had minutes earlier taken his oath of office. Soludo came into the inauguration venue in the company of his wife, Mrs Nonye, while his Deputy, Dr Onyeka Ibezim also arrived with his wife.
