Buhari Swears in Sambo As Minister of State, Works and Housing

President Muhammadu Buhari, on Friday, swore in the newly-appointed Minister of State for Works and Housing, Malam Muazu Sambo.

The event was held shortly before the opening of the meeting of the National Security Council in the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

Recall that Sambo, who replaced Mamman Sale, former Minister of Power, also from Taraba, was posted to the Ministry of Works and Housing as Minister of State, Works and Housing.

Those in attendance of the security meeting include Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, Ministers of Justice, Defence, Interior, Police Affairs and Foreign Affairs, NAN reports.

Others are service chiefs, Inspector-General of Police, Usman Baba, the National Security Adviser to the President rtd Maj. Gen. Babagana Monguno; Director-General of the Department of State Services, Yusuf Bichi as well as the Director-General, NIA, Abubakar Rufa’i.
