Nigeria’s Confirmed Coronavirus Cases Rise to 362 As 19 New Cases Are Recorded

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced that 19 new cases of COVID-19 have been recorded with one fatality as of 09:20 pm on April 14, 2020.
Of the 19 new cases, Lagos recorded 14, Abuja 2 and one each in Kano, Akwa Ibom and Edo state respectively, increasing nationwide cases to 362 with eleven fatalities. The number of persons who have recovered has, however, climbed to 99.
Recalled that President Muhammadu Buhari had in a nationwide broadcast on Monday, extended lockdown in Lagos, Ogun and the FCT, by 14 days, as reliable measures to curb spread of the pandemic; a move which he described as a difficult decision.
