The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, on Monday said that the suspension of the Chief Judge of Nigeria, Mr. Walter Onnoghen, is an attack on judiciary while warning President Muhammadu Buhari and the ruling All Progressives Congress to desist from acts that tend to lead to constitutional crisis, which is capable of truncating the nation’s democracy.
“APC should stop actions that could lead to a constitutional crisis that could derail Nigeria’s democracy,” he said.
Atiku also noted that Nigeria is passing through difficult times with the recent developments in the country.
The former Vice President made these remarks while speaking during a media conference at Abuja.
