Versatile Artiste, Moji Oyetayo has revealed that she has the experience, exposure and expertise to become the Chairman, Actors’ Guild of Nigeria ( AGN) Lagos State Chapter.
The amiable lady in an exclusive chat with The Boss noted that having been in the industry for years she is very qualified to change the face of the guild and inject fresh as well as innovative ideas.
According to the lady who made her name playing Mama Ajasco in Wale Adenuga’s famous comedy, Papa Ajasco:
“As Chairman, I intend to pursue job creation as a key programme in the guild m with a special focus on the upcoming and elderly ones.
“I am in partnership with some production firms that will reel out soaps and movies just for the guild members to be actively featured
“I also intend to create social forums whereby the A-list actors can bond with the other practitioners and impact knowledge with a view of passing the torch.
“I intend to retain the current Nollywood joggers club that has helped to bond the guild members every Saturday and add one or two more clubs in this regards for our wellness and interactions as well as the introduction of an accessible health insurance scheme.
“In terms of exposure, we will organize seminars,workshops and trainings that will be aimed at the development of guild members while also enhancing their ability to financially harness their talents.
She also promised that one of her cardinal objectives will be to ensure the stability, peace and respect of the guild. ” These will be guarded fiercely in my tenure”
