All Progressives Congress (APC) Lagos State Gubernatorial Candidate, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu flagged of his campaign this morning amidst fanfare.
The venue of the ceremony, Skypower Grounds, GRA Ikeja was packed to capacity with party supporters who came adorning special blue outfits with pictures of Babajide Sanwo-Olu and his deputy, Dr Femi Hazmat.
Speaking at the event, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu began by thanking Governor Akinwinmi Ambode for his immense support, called on members of the party to continue to campaign and sell the good works of the APC to all and sundry, noting that victory is sure if everyone works as one team.
He promised Lagosians that APC will ensure that Lagos will remain the No.1 State in Nigeria and the economic hub of the sub-region.
In his remarks, Lagos State Governor, Mr Akinwinmi Ambode said Mr Sanwo-Olu is very intelligent and capable.He stated that the APC candidate has been in the system for a long time and understands what Lagos needs to develop and prosper.
Earlier, APC Chieftain, His Eminence Olorunfunmi Bashorun had urged party members to mobilize more voters to ensure that the party hits its target of four million votes.
