The Boss can authoritatively reveal that Sokoto State Governor, Rt Hon. Aminu Waziri Tambuwal has been accepted by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) as the Sokoto Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP) Gubernatorial candidate.
Sources revealed that Tambuwal who had earlier contested for the position of the President in the same party was included after Manir Muhammad Dan’iya whose name was submitted was substituted.
The source further told us that Muhammed Dan’iya’s name has now been included as the running mate to Tambuwal.
There were speculations in Sokoto that Tambuwal may have been schemed out of Gubernatorial race but certainly the former Speaker, Federal House of Representatives has used the window provided for substitution of names to bounce back.
