Social media powerhouse, Linda Ikeji, has revealed the identity of administrator of popular and controversial Instagram page, Instablog9ja. He is John Abayomi. The page administrator, who, a couple months back, disclosed the name of Linda Ikeji’s baby father, was also revealed to be the former editor for Vanguard and current online editor for Punch Newspapers.
Linda Ikeji posted on lindaikeji.com:
“For years, many have wondered who the mystery person behind the instagram blog was, with so many names thrown around…and none, until now, has been right. Being anonymous was obviously important to the creator of instablog but we think it’s time everyone knows the man behind the IG blog”.
The blogging game is known mostly to disclose gossip about celebrities and anybody with juicy enough information to be disclosed, no matter how intimate and personal. So, there have been varying reactions online, with social media users believing that Miss Ikeji was simply playing the dirty game of gossip blogging while others are excited to put a face to the name and controversy.
Sources have claimed that Abayomi, who has denied the allegations, has been summoned by the board members of the Punch Newspapers to address the matter and investigations are underway to confirm the claims. With his denial, sources claim that Abayomi is set to sue Linda Ikeji.
