The All Progressives Congress (APC) South West Women Leader and Executive Director, National Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF), Chief (Mrs.) Kemi Nelson, has denied the allegation making the rounds in some online news media that she invaded the APC secretariat with thugs, saying that she never did any such thing.
Chief Nelson who spoke exclusively to The Boss, before instructing her personal assistant to give the details of what happened laughed at the allegation, describing it as a figment of imagination of mischief makers.
“I did no such thing,” she calmly said.
Responding on the Women Leaders behalf, her personal assistant, Princess Oba, told the Boss that “Chief (Mrs.) Kemi Nelson has always been a woman of peace, and does not have the capacity to invade anywhere not to talk of injuring anyone,”.
She added: “She came around when she heard what was going on at the secretariat to make peace, and never drew a crowd with her. It was even the Lagos State Women Leader, Hon. Jumoke Okoya-Thomas, that called for backup from Lagos Island. Chief (Mrs.) Nelson did not do what they said she did. She is a woman of peace, and those who have known her for years will attest to that.”
