Members of the House of Representatives from the Peoples Democratic Party were in jubilation over the defection of some All Progressives Congress senators Tuesday.
The members, led by the Deputy Minority Leader, Mr. Chukwuka Onyema, sang anti-APC songs in the lobby of the National Assembly building.
This was before the House commenced plenary for the day.
The Speaker, Mr. Yakubu Dogara, arrived in the chambers to the shouts of “Dogara”, “Dogara”, “Dogara.”
PDP Reps are hopeful there will be defections in the House too, heightening the prospect of the party regaining majority leadership.
