The members of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Lagos State chapter, has kicked against the swearing in of the supposed winner of the Lagos State congress held recently, Mr Tunde Balogun and his cabinet.

The party, in a press statement signed by Fouad Oki, blast the national chairman, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, for orchestrating a ‘show of shame’ in disregard of the decision of the National Working Committee during a meeting on June 1, 2018, to step down any form of swearing in for any group pending the resolution of the matters on the ground.

The group also condemned what it described as the “shenanigan exhibited at the inauguration which further exposed how cheaply and weak some people can be when it comes to the matter of money…”.

It also, as part of its four point agenda called on the President, Muhammadu Buhari, and Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, and other well meaning members of the party to direct Oyegun and the NWC to reverse itself as their action was against the decision of the NWC.

They also insist that NWC should ensure that its officers fully respect its own decision as taken on Friday, June 1, 2018, and follow applicable standards while enforcing law and order.
