The immediate past President, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, was joined by the Governor of Gombe State, Alhaji Dankwambo, Ekiti State Governor, Dr Ayodele Fayose, traditional rulers and other well meaning citizens of Ekiti State to commission the 1.2 kilometres first flyover bridge in the state.
In his speech at the event, Governor Ayodele Fayose, has expressed an intention to ‘move to Abuja’ after leaving office in October. He did not however, state what his movement to Abuja means.
He said that while his deputy and governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in the July 14, 2018 Ekiti State election, Prof. Kolapo Ishola Eleka, was wearing an Ekiti State inscripted cap, he (Fayose) was wearing Abuja inscripted cap.
The governor, in a comic way, highlighted his achievements, urging the people of the state to vote PDP for continuity.
