The Moyegeso of Itele-Ijebu, Oba (Engr) Mufutau Kasali, has turned around to support the governorship aspirations of the current Commissioner for Commerce and Industry in Ogun State, Otunba Bimbo Ashiru.
The highly respected Oba, according to press statement signed by Ashiru’s media aide, Tayo Mabewaye, shifted ground when the governorship hopeful paid him a courtesy visit as part of his consultations to major obas in the state.
At the oba’s palatial residence in Itele-Ijebu, the oba openly declared his support for the aspiration of governorship hopeful and prayed for him. It will be recalled that Oba Kasali had opposed the emergence of Ashiru when the Ijebu-Remo Agenda presented him to the Ijebu Obas at the palace of the Awujale of Ijebu land on November 117, 2017.
