Neither Dr Donald Duke nor Chief Jerry Gana made the list of candidates as Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) released the final list of candidates for the 2019 general elections.
This means that the Social Democratic Party (SDP) will not be presenting a presidential candidate for the February 16, 2019 election.
It will be recalled that Duke and Gana have been locked in a conflict of interest as regards who will fly the party’s flag in the election. While Donald Duke won the primary election in October, Jerry Gana was declared winner by the court.
