The Governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Nasir el-Rufai, was defeated in his ward in the Local Government election in the state.
Records made available to the Boss reveal that the Governor could not deliver his U/Sarki to his party, the All Progressives Party as the Peoples Democratic Party swept the polls.
While the APC polled 12 votes, the PDP polled a total of 104 votes for the chairmanship seat, the APC also got a paltry 12 votes in the councillorship election as against PDP’s 103 votes.
The APC did not fare better in other wards as the party suffered the same fate. See some of the results at a glance:
