Jandor Foundation hosts Iftar and Ramadan Programme

Jandor Foundation, a Lagos-based non-profit and Non-Governmental Organization over the weekend hosted  its volunteers and coordinators to iftar and a lecture as part of the activities makrking the Holy month of Ramadan which is being observed by Muslims all over the world.

The event held at the Administrative Hall of Ikeja Local Government Council, Ikeja, Lagos was also attended by the Founder/Chairman of the foundation, his  friends and members of the public.

Apart from the Ramadan lecture, the occasion was an opportunity to interact with the volunteers and coordinators as well as inform members of the public on the core activities of the humanitarian organization which is solely aimed at eradicating poverty and improving the socio-economic well-being of poor citizens through diverse kinds of empowerment programmes and skill acquisitions.

The lecture was delivered by Alhaji Akeem Kosoko. He spoke on a theme titled; “Islam as a tool for Nation Building”

The speaker emphasized on the fact that Islam is seen as an instrument for building positive impact in society and used the opportunity to dispel misconceptions about the religion.


The Chairman of Jandor Foundation who is also the Chairman/CEO OF Core TV, Mr. Olajide Adediran in his closing remark  thanked everyone present  especially the volunteers and coordinators for their commitment to the course of serving humanity.

He noted that the set objectives of the foundation are enormous and therefore more hands and support are needed to ensure that more people are touched and greater success is achieved.
