Produced by promising movie producer, Delta state born Sylvester Chekwube Adaba Kwentua, who was born and brought up in Lagos, the movie is a must watch.
Describing the movie in vivid imageries, the 29 years old Nigerian Institute of Journalism graduate of Mass Communications said:
‘Something for Christmas’, a short but powerful movie, tells the story of a middle class man, Karma, who although lived comfortably, wanted to treat his family to a wonderful Christmas celebration by taking them abroad just like his friend and neighbour, Gabriel.
Knowing fully well that his financial status will not allow him spend the Christmas the way he wants to, he sought a solution and was eventually introduced to money ritual by a colleague at the his place of work.
However nemesis caught up with him, and he was apprehended and jailed while perpetrating the ritual. Gabriel on hearing about Karma’s predicament, decided to include Karma’s family in their plans to spend the festive season abroad.
Something for Christmas basically intends to change people’s orientation about the Christmas celebration. It emphasizes that Jesus Christ is the only reason for the season.
He also has this to say about himself:
“I am a trained journalist, and have been privileged to practice for some years. My passion for entertainment pushed me into movie productions and I love it.
“Something for Christmas is my first movie and the world should watch out for me.”
