World No. 1 and the most dominant force in female Tennis, Serena Williams has slammed her way into another Wimbledon Finals and is set to win her 22nd Grand Slam.
A very focused and unsmiling Serena this afternoon defeated teenage Russian, Elena Vesnina in straight sets 6-2, 6-0.
The match, watched by many dignitaries including the Duchess of Cambridge was a true testimony of the dominance of Serena in the women game.
Meanwhile, elder sister, 36 year-old Venus was not so lucky as she was beaten 6-4, 6-4 by Angelique Kebber.
The defeat of Venus snuffed out the dream of many for another Williams vs Williams Wimbledon final.
It must be said however that having beaten Serena at the Australian Open earlier in the year, Angelique will be supremely confident going into the Saturday final game at SW19.
