It was a gathering of who is who in the entertainment industry at the wake-keep service held in honour of a prominent thespian, Mrs. Henrietta Kosoko, the wife of veteran actor, Jide Kosoko, in Lagos.
The wake-keep service which took place at De Blue Roof, LTV 8, Lateef Jakande Road, Agidingbi, Ikeja, was officiated by Pastor Adebola Adebayo Olowa from The Redeemed Christian Church of God, Fountain of Power Parish, Province 1, Gbagada, Lagos.
During the sermon, Pastor Adebola described the deceased as an embodiment of humility and a great achiever who has contributed immensely to the entertainment industry. He went further to talk about the need to prepare for death. According to the man of God, Death is a compensation for those in pains and in God’s eye, is an entrance to eternity. Therefore everyone should get prepared for the last day. He buttressed his point from the scripture.
Some of her colleagues that attended the wake keep were Oga Bello, Saidi Balogun, Adewale Elesho, Yomi Fash Lanso, Muyiwa Ademola, Gbenga Adewusi, Yinka Quadri, Muka Ray, Ogogo, Rikado Agbor, Foluke Daramola,Toyin Aimaku, Dele Odule, Mercy Aigbe, Moji Olaiya, Ayo Adesanya, Nike Peller, Rammy Shittabey, Fathia Balogun, Ayo Badmus, Tony Okoroji, Dayo Amusan, Desmond Eliot, Yetunde Wunmi, Tunji Bamishigbin among others.
Sympathizers from far and near also came in large numbers to honour the late popular actress who died at 53.The service was rounded off with a closing prayer by Pastor Adebola Adebayo Olowa, as guests departed to their various destinations.
Late Mrs. Henrietta Kosoko is survived by husband and children.
