A new arrival lounge has been launched at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport in Lagos called Llegada Arrival Lounge.
The launch, which was supervised by the Managing Director, Olatunbosun Onalaja, had other members of staff in attendance as well as friends, well wishers and business associates.
The managing director explained that the company has two other lounges in Abuja and Lagos, and are desirous of rendering the best quality services to travelers as well as determined to bring about change in Nigeria’s economy by introducing the first ever arrival lounge in the country.
The lounge, according to him, is opened to any economy class traveler who is badly in need of relaxation before gathering the strength to get home, noting that Llegada, which is a Spanish word for ‘Arrival’ gives comfort away from home. Among some of its services are freshen up shower, refreshment, napping and any other thing a home can provide.
During his opening speech, Olatunbosun appreciated the guests for coming, and stated the purpose of the gathering, after which Mr. Tito Okpaise, the Director Commecials and Business Development of the establishment, cut the tape to declare the lounge open. An inspection of the facility was thereafter conducted, showcasing the aesthetic and attractive nature of the lounge in and out.
The well-conditioned interior was well decorated and endowed with various artworks mostly depicting African culture. No one needed to be told to feel at home as the atmosphere provided a true home away from home. The atmosphere was further lightened with the provision of assorted beverages such as snacks, wine, tea, coffee among others.
Important personalities at the event include the Organisation’s Regional Manager, West Africa, Rashika Sunker Batoh; Claud Batohi, Olajide Onalaja, Mr. Henry Moweta, Adewale Sanni, Mr. Justin Bell, Mrs. Vivian Anyanwu and many others.
