The Super Eagles sweat merchant, Gernot Rohr maintained his unbeaten run as the national team’s helmsman when the team defeated the Togolese national team yesterday evening in faraway Paris, France.
The comprehensive 3-0 victory over the Hawks of Togo game was also used to celebrate the team’s rise on the FIFA Ranking with Ahmed Musa grabbing a brace while Iheanacho got the other goal.
The three-time African champions who moved to 38th in the world and fourth in Africa took the lead inside the first three minutes of the encounter inside the Stade Municipal de Saint Leu La Foret when Leicester City forward, Ahmed Musa pounced on a loose ball from Togo goalkeeper Alassani to finish with a plomb.

Arsenal-bound Henry Onyekuru replaced Etebo but was unable to add to the tally as the game ended 3-0 in favour of the Super Eagles.
Gernot Rohr became Nigeria’s coach in August 2016, and is yet to lose a game since beating Tanzania by a lone goal in his first game in Uyo.
Nigeria is set to face South Africa in an Africa Cup of Nations qualifier next weekend.
