Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu Buhari is getting set to join the first session of the 71st United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).
He and other world leaders would be discussing issues around migration and security, amongst others.
Security, however, has taken the shine off the gathering even before it kicked off officially following an explosion that rocked the city.
Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr Femi Adesina, posted earlier on Twitter: “At UNGA today, PMB participates in high level meeting on refugees and migrants’ issue. Also to attend AU Peace and Security Council Meeting.”
