NYSC dismisses rumours of being broke, assures of immediate mobilization

The management of the National Youth Service Corps has allayed fears that the stream 2 orientation course may not hold due to lack of funds.

A statement issued by the management revealed that an approval for the release of funds to accommodate the 2016 Batch ‘A’( Stream II) Orientation course has been granted by the federal government.

“The Management of the National Youth Service Corps wishes to express its profound gratitude to the Federal Government for its prompt intervention, approval and release of funds to accommodate the 2016 Batch ‘A’( Stream II) Orientation course” it stated.

The statement said the exercise would hold as scheduled on Saturday 21st May to Monday, 6th June, 2016 while the swearing in ceremony would hold on Monday, 23rd May, 2016.

While wishing the prospective Corps members successful orientation course and service year, they were directed to print their call up letters online/collect from their various institutions of graduation as it may be.
