Lotanna Premieres As Nollywood Rates Higher

The Nigerian movie world recently got another addition to the plethora of its classic movies as Toka Mcbabor and Ifeanyi ‘Ifan’ Michael unleashed yet another first, ‘Lotanna’, which was premiered at the Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Lotanna, which is translated as Remember Your Father, is a product of years of hard work and perseverance.

The story of Lotanna revolves round a young boy who discovers at a very tender age that he has to offset a debt incurred by his late father. The lad undergoes a myriad of trials and challenges that stood to break or make him. He is aided by an unbreakable resolve to succeed, a sonorous voice, friends, enemies and mysterious people he meets along the way.

According to Ifeanyi ‘Ifan’ Michael, who produced the movie, God has been the prime mover of the movie, and without Him nothing would have been accomplished as far as the movie is concerned.

A live red carpet at the premiere was hosted by Idia Aisien, together with the hosts of Jara, Helen Paul, and Uti Nwachukwu. In attendance were Adesua Etomi, Somkele Idhalama, Osas Ighodaro, Kiki Omeili, Michelle Dede, Linda Ejiofor, Kelechi Amadi Obi, Eku Edewor, DJ Spinall, Ini Dima Okojie among others.

With Toka Mcbabor directing and Ifeanyi ‘Ifan’ Michael producing, Lotanna boast of array of stars including Ireti Doyle, Bimbo Manuel, Beverly Naya, Chris Attoh, Jide Kosoko, Chris Okagbue, Joseph Benjamin, Kaptain Tony Akpon, Kemi Lala- Akindoju, Ifan Ifeanyi Michael, Sandra Okagbue, Seun Kentebe, and Adaeze Ocean Agbasi.

The movie will hit prominent cinemas soon.
