When we talk of comedians that hold the stage spellbound with thrilling jokes and first class entertainment, the name, Tunde Adewale, better known as Tee-A, readily comes to mind. The ebullient Tee A has been in standup comedy as well as a Master of Ceremonies (MC) for two prolific decades.
Recently, he celebrated his 20th anniversary on stage with a dinner concert at the Intercontinental Hotel Victoria Island in the presence of friends and well-wishers in a grand style.
The event, which witnessed an array of society big wigs, started with a red carpet session as the evening of glamour and bliss unfolded.
On roll call of entertainment were first performers like D’banj, Wande Coal among others.
The man of the day, Tee A, was also on hand to dish out what he knows best and he is known for, which is unadulterated comedy.
Of course, an event of this nature, with the graduate of University as host, did not come without the presence of continental dishes as everyone wined and dined without restriction.
In his remarks, Tee A stated that the essence of his anniversary is to create room for young teenagers, make provision for training avenues, engagement opportunities and more local role models apart from Ali Baba.
Tee-A remains one of the most turn up MC in Nigeria, with lot of etiquette, morality as well as social and political commentaries which he presents in a satirical manner are rich in meaning to his target audience with his popular program TYME OUT WITH TEE-A.
Dignitaries who graced the occasion include veteran comedian, Ali Baba, AIG Tunji Alapini and wife, Wale Ajayi and wife, Teju-Babyface, Princess, Dare Art Alade, Idowu Ogungbe, Wande Coal and D’banj among other notable guests.
