It was a scene of bliss and harmony as Oyenike Adesewa Ojo and Gideon Olufemi Alejo said goodbye to their former lives as spinster and bachelor. The two day journey to matrimonial began with a colourful traditional ceremony at Wood Workers Hall, 47 Kumoye Street, Elegance House, Ilaro, Ogun State.

The jubilant music for the traditional ceremony was provided by DJ Spark. The ceremony was a vision of purple and elegance. There was a delectable orange cake which featured miniature representations of the couple. Among notable personalities present at the vibrant event were Senator Iyiola Omisore and Prince Agbede.

The traditional masters of ceremony, popularly called Alaga Ijoko for the groom, and Alaga Iduro for the bride, Alhaja Folashade Ogundoyin, and Princess Olaleye Aderonke, respectively, did an excellent job in keeping the atmosphere light and breezy for the guests.

The elated atmosphere from the traditional affair was carried on to the next day as the couple were joined in white wedding which took place at C.A.C. Agbara Itunu behind Gateway Multipurpose Hall, Empire, Ilaro.  The groom looked dashing in his custom made Tuxedo while the bride turned all heads when she stepped into the church with her creamy wedding gown. The reception followed swiftly after with lots to eat and drink. The gorgeous couple danced excitedly and celebrated as they begin their journey as one flesh.
