It was all excitement at the Muson Centre, venue of the Third Festival Colloquium to mark Lagos at 50, when the Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Ogunwusi, made his entry.
With a retinue of praise singers, hangers, well wishers as well as journalists, the oba had a hectic time making it to the podium.
In his speech, the oba, who gave all the glory to the Almighty God noted that though Africa is tagged idol worshipers, ‘we are no idol worshipers’. he further identified the importance of culture in the collective unity of the Nigerian nation.
“Our culture, more than our religion binds us together,” he said
