Africa’s numero uno celebrity magazine, Ovation International Magazine earlier today, received the CMC (Cornel Media Consult) group at her office in Ikeja.
The president of the group, Cornel Udofia and his entourage paid a courtesy visit to the company, and were received by the Editor, Michael Effiong. The visit was intended to seek the support of the media giant in projecting and supporting the course and vision of the group.
The impromptu visit also paved the way for the editor to share with the group, morsel of the struggles and challenges experienced by the company in the earlier period. In his words “We have grown to become a global brand, for the reason that we stayed true to our mission and vision.”
He also urged the group to be diligent, persistent and consistent in whatever they do.
“There are very few successful businesses that knew that they were going to be successful. There is always a stumbling block on the path of greatness. Identify your passion, nurture it and execute it with finesse,” he added.
In addition, He drew examples from the likes of Microsoft, Mark Zukerberg, and Richard Brandson amongst others. He however, urged the group to stay focused and resilient in all their endeavours.
The group appreciated the Editor’s profound wealth of knowledge and his unfledging moral support, after which they raised questions that bothered on career development and partnership with the media giant.
Comparatively, the Editor pledged the media support and vowed to assist the group in his own stead.
The visit thinned out with the presentation of souvenirs by CMC to the editor. The materials included; audio CD’s of member artistes, copies of different publications of members, and lots more.
In turn, the editor gifted each member of the group with copies of Ovation International Magazine, which was briefly followed by photograph session.
