EMMA NYRA Set to Release EP dubbed “Love vs Money”
Talented British born Nigerian artiste, Emma Nyra, who took a bow from MMMG records, owned by Ubi franklin, is set to release a new single dubbed “Work hard” after an unceremonious break from the scene.
This single is a sequel to her hit track “For my matter,” which featured dancehall and reggae act, Patoranking.
“For my matter” enjoyed massive airplay on all major radio and television stations across Africa, little wonder it has become listener’s favourite. The talented and sultry artiste stated that “Work Hard” promises to be every music lover’s anthem and every radio stations’ favourite.
Her fans are patiently waiting for the release of her EP “Love vs Money” as it promises to make waves in the industry. “Work Hard” which is produced by Giggz, is scheduled to hit the market soon.
LAX DROPS SINGLE, FEATURING CHOC CITY ACT, DICE AILES
Damilola Afolabi, better known as, L.a.x, Wizkid’s first act under the star boy records, drops new single dubbed “kiss and Tell.” The song features fellow youngsters in the industry with the likes of lk kuddy, Ceeza milli, Drey beatz and Dice Ailes.
This club banger produced by Drey beats, is already taking over the industry as it has become listener’s delight. The single is an artistic combination of a producer extra- ordinaire and talented artistes.
ATTITUDE DROPS SINGLE FEATURING REEKADO BANKS
Achievers Records signee, Destiny Eghomwanre, better known as Attitude has featured Mavin’s golden boy, Reekado Banks, on this funky single “Tango.”
In 2015, Attitude released his debut single titled “Mo le nu.” The song enjoyed massive airplay, and soon became a mantra for music lovers. The Edo State born artiste is on course to stamp his foot prints in the industry with his remarkable vocal delivery.
Without a doubt, “Tango” a fresh and catchy sound produced by Egar Boi, who is largely known for creating monstrous beats, is gradually carving a niche for Attitude – in the music scene.
BLACKFACE SET TO DROP A “TWO – IN – ONE” ALBUM
Ahmedu Augustine Obiabo, better known as Blackface, is set to thrill his fans with a new “Two – in – one” album later this year.
Blackface, a former member of the defunct boy band, Plantashun Boiz, is yet to make a statement in the musical industry following the breakup of the band, in 2004. The reggae and dancehall artiste has tried on several occasions to rebrand himself with the release of three unsuccessful albums; “Ghetto child,” “Me, music and I” and “Dancehall Business.”
The Idoma born artiste doesn’t look deterred by his past and failed attempts, rather he seems more energised and geared up to stage a massive comeback with his two – in – one album, titled “The Defender.”
Blackface stated that the album “The Defender” which is just around the corner is a sequel to his 2007 “Ghetto child” album and promises to sweep through the industry, like a volcanic eruption.
RIC HASSANI DROPS VIDEO OF NEW SINGLE “GENTLEMAN”
Nigerian born singer and songwriter, Ikechukwu Eric Ehiauzu aka Ric Hassani has dropped a new single “Gentleman.” The song which was produced by Doron Clinton is creatively laced with a mix of jazz and soul. The chef-d’oeuvre video was shot and directed by Mex.
Ric Hassani is an artiste that tries to infuse moral values in his songs and “Gentleman” is no exception. The single takes as swipe at men who subject their women to untold violence, which is seen as a vice that has eaten deep into the fragments of the society at large.
“Gentleman” is not just a hit track, but according to the Jazz and Soul artiste, it is a song with strong message and theme which addresses the societal menace. According to Ric, the song fulfils his purpose in the industry as he wants to be remembered for his impact in the society through music.
“Gentleman” is indeed an extra-ordinaire track.

Fast rising musical act and Afro pop highlife sensation, Humblesmith has hit the headlines for all the right reasons in the last few months.
