President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday morning met with some top government officials in his office at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Few minutes after 10 a.m. the car of the Aid-de-Camp to the President, Lawal Abubakar, was driven to and packed at its normal area of the forecourt, by the Council Chamber of the Presidential Villa.
Also, the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, and the Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, around 10.30 a.m. passed in front of the Council Chamber and moved towards the President’s residence.
The cameraman of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) also followed suit.
Few minutes to 11 a.m, the Chief of Staff to the President, Abba Kyari,, also moved from his office to the President’s office.
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo was also being expected to meet the President in his office.
The President normally meet with some of his top staff every morning before settling down for the business of the day.
An Ambulance normally packed by the Council Chamber was also driven to it’s position around 11.16 a.m.
Buhari had returned to Nigeria on Friday after about 50 days medical vacation in the United Kingdom.
While stressing that the President will take advantage of the weekend to rest more, the Presidency had disclosed that the President on Monday will forward a letter to the National Assembly to inform the legislature of his return to the country.
