A source in the hospital said Takema’s collapse was as a result of Cardiovascular Accident (CVA) commonly known as stroke.
The ill-health of the SSG came barely two weeks after Governor Ortom had organised fervent prayers and fasting to dedicate Benue to God to rid the state of negativities.
The chief medical director (CMD) of BSUTH, Prof. Orkurga Malu confirmed that the SSG was being hospitalised in the teaching hospital. He spoke on telephone through the PRO of the health institution, Mr. Cephas Hough who said medical check-up into the matter was ongoing.
