The leader of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB) and self styled leader of the Igbo nation, Mr. Nnambi Kanu, has described the Arewa youths who gave the quit to all Igbo living in the northern part of the country to depart by October 1, 2017, as a bunch of ‘inconsequential street urchins, badly educated.
Kanu was speaking while responding to an interview question by the Punch on his take as regards the quit order.
“I don’t know who they are. I don’t know who they are. Inconsequential street urchins. Badly educated. Not polished nor cultured enough to offer any opinion on any issue of great importance. So why should I respond to them?” He said.
The man, who is reputed as drawing god-like followership among those who identified his cause, has also boasted that he ‘controls the people 100 per cent’, and as as a result, there will be election in Anambra State come November 18, 2017.
“We control the people 100 per cent. And come to Anambra on the 18th of November, 2017, the whole world will be amazed,” he said.
