Forbes has released its list of African billionaires for the year 2018, which features a combined net worth of $75.4 billion compared to $70 billion from 2017. Aliko Dangote, maintains the title of Africa’s Richest Man, for the eighth year in a row, with a whopping $10.3 billion, $1.9 million less than 2017.

CEO of Globacom, Mike Adenuga, rose from third position in the 2017 ranking to second, with a net worth of $9.2billion. Folorunsho Alakija shares the 19th position with Michiel Le Roux of Capitec Bank, South Africa, with a net worth of $1.1billion.
