The senator representing Kaduna Central senatorial district, Senator Shehu Sani, has debunked the rumours making the rounds that President of Nigeria is not the Muhammadu Buhari elected to the office in 2015.
Sani, who recently defected from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), took to his twitter handle to inform all that that there is no truth in the rumour as the man in Aso Rock is actually the real President Buhari, saying that what is playing out inthe public domain is nothing but the ‘theatre of the absurd’.
“There is no one and nothing like Jubril El Sudan, Caesar is healthy and has no double. But you can literally refer Jubril as an imaginative and mythical character in Shakespearean Nigeria. It;s natural to creatively invent characters and promote conjectures in our theatre of the absurd,” he wrote.
The leader of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has sometime in 2017, raised the issue of Buhari’s clone in Aso Rock as president, saying that the real President Buhari did not survive the sickness that kept him away for about 150 days.
The rumour has since gained ground, and expanded in reach.
